The Department of Electrical Engineering and Computer Science (EECS) at The Catholic University of America invites applications for the position of Assistant/Associate Professor of Practice in Data Analytics, beginning in January 2025. 

The EECS department offers bachelor’s degrees (ABET accredited) and graduate degrees (MS and PhD) and is known for its commitment to excellence.  To learn more about the department, please visit engineering.catholic.edu/eecs

We are seeking candidates who understand, are enthusiastic about our mission, and will make a significant contribution to it, (see “mission of the University”).  The primary responsibilities for this position include teaching data analytics courses as assigned by the department chair. 

Applicants must have an earned doctorate in computer science, information science/systems, data science/analytics, or applied statistics (anticipated completion prior to starting the position is acceptable). Successful candidates should demonstrate the ability to motivate and inspire students through effective teaching and communication.
