Work description

The project is divided into three tasks, in which the candidate will be involved:

1) developing demand models for shared urban mobility;

2) application and insights for a case study in a specific city;

3) writing a scientific paper to disseminate the results.

This is a collaborative position and the candidate is expected to work with the other members of the team.

Minimum profile required

• Scientific expertise in quantitative and qualitative decision-support methods, in the area of Industrial Engineering and Management or similar.
• High autonomy. Fluency in OOP languages such as C++ or Python.
• Proficiency in English.

Preference factors

• Experience in R&D on the topic of urban mobility.
• Experience with mathematical programming, metaheuristics, and data science methods.
• Good communication skills.
• Fluency in English, written and spoken.
• Experience in publishing scientific papers and its dissemination in scientific conferences.
