Immediate Research Assistantship (RA) position at the Smart Grid Laboratory of the Center of Energy Systems Research (CESR), Tennessee Tech University, USA
Are you passionate about building sustainable power systems and have experience with converter-interfaced generation (CIG) modeling and grid interconnection studies? At CESR we are offering an industry-sponsored fully-funded RA to a qualified PhD applicant to help us investigate: (1) interactions of various grid components and controls on the stability and operation of weak BPSs (sub-cycle to few seconds range), (2) CIG plant control system modifications to better support the stability of weak BPSs.
