One Postdoc position is available for Fall 2024 in the AIS Construction Lab directed by Prof. Yi Shao. The project is about developing seismic design guidance of GFRP reinforced concrete structures. It is funded and supported by ACI, NEx, and our industry partners. The postdocs duties mainly involve (1) conducting OpenSees analysis of GFRP reinforced frame-wall hybrid systems (2) conducting experimental tests of GFRP reinforced beam-column joints.

The starting date is as soon as possible.

Starting salary will be CAD 45,000/year plus benefits. Initial appointment is one year and renewable based on performance and funding availability.
