Position Summary

A Postdoctoral Associate position is available in the Motor Control and Rehabilitation Lab at the University at Buffalo under the supervision of Dr. Hang Jin Jo.

Candidates with background in biomedical engineering, neurophysiology, motor control, or related area are encouraged to apply. Potential areas of research training include:
  • Neurophysiological assessment of neurological impairments in clinical population.
  • Application of cutting-edge neuromodulation using transcranial magnetic stimulation, transcranial direct current stimulation, and transcutaneous electrical stimulation as rehabilitation intervention.
  • Neuroimaging data acquisition and analysis in combination with neuronavigation system.
  • Assessment of neurological impairments with biomechanical methods such as synergy analysis of kinetic/kinematic data.

  • Experience in research related to biomedical engineering, neurophysiology, or motor control
