Optimisation of multi-energy networks and systems

Work description

• Modeling and simulation of multi-energy systems.
• Models to estimate DER flexibility.
• Development of forecasting models, optimization problems and decision support tools.

Minimum profile required

• PhD degree with postdoctoral experience or scientific curriculum compatible with the category of the scientific research career to which the remuneration level defined below corresponds.

Preference factors

• Participation, possibly including positions of responsibility, in research and development projects in simulation and optimization of multi-energy systems;
• Advanced knowledge of optimization and programming (Python, C, C++, etc.);
• Experience in developing forecasting models and decision support tools;
• Fluency in English and Portuguese (written and spoken)..
