The UNC Department of Orthopaedics and the UNC/NC State Joint Dept of Biomedical Engineering are jointly seeking a qualified candidate for an Open Rank full-time faculty position. The new faculty member will be expected to establish and maintain a successful, externally funded interdisciplinary basic science research program in musculoskeletal sciences, actively participate in graduate or undergraduate teaching programs in BME, and periodically participate in the basic science/research curriculum for the Orthopaedic residency program. This position will foster interactions and collaborations with both clinical and research faculty across schools, programs, and centers at UNC-Chapel Hill and North Carolina State University.
