Women, minorities, and other under-represented groups are highly encouraged to apply.

Essential duties and responsibilities: Candidates will be expected to develop and execute Extension programming in "precision technologies" related to commercial animal and crop-production, as well as to advise graduate students. They must establish a strong record of applied research, Extension programming and informal teaching, and service.

Minimum Qualifications: Applicants must have a Ph.D. by time of appointment in either (1) Agricultural, Biological, or Biosystems Engineering, or equivalent in a closely related engineering discipline, or (2) Agricultural Technology Management, Agricultural Systems Management, or Agricultural Engineering Technology and Business, or equivalent in a closely related engineering technology discipline. Applicants must also have excellent verbal and writing skills as well as a strong commitment to teaching excellence, scholarly production, and grantsmanship and should have the ability to conduct multi-disciplinary collaborative research.

ABDs: Yes

Preferred Qualifications: Experience in commercial animal production operations, facilities, and environmental control systems (particularly poultry) towards improving production and resource use efficiency, and crop-processing machinery and systems.
