The Energy Research Institute @ NTU (ERI@N) invites applications for the position of Research Associate. 

Key Responsibilities: 

• Specific precipitation

• Liquid-liquid or Liquid/solid extraction

• Simulation of scaled up process.

• Design of continuous process based on the most interesting systems for the selective recovery of the metal ions of interest

• Implementation of the process at pilot scale (~10 L/h or larger) to demonstrate its feasibility and to give first hints for cost analysis from the perspective of development at industrial size

Job Requirements: 

• PhD in Chemical Engineering / Chemistry

• Candidate with strong background on chemical separation processes, especially hydrometallurgy ones.

• Good record of publications and IPs

• Experience with lab set up or prototype development

• Familiar with chemical elements characterization techniques (Spectrophotometry, ICP, FX…)

• Familiar with Labview, python or process simulation software

• Excellent command of oral and written English.
