This position requires in depth knowledge of metal casting and solidification processes, as well as simulation and the models for solidification (such as MAGMA), and the fusion of defect data with models and develop a knowledge base.

- PhD in the area of Materials Science and Engineering or other relevant areas.
The candidate must have excellent communication skills in both writing, presentations, as well as in negotiating a win win solution with the partners collaborating on the project.
