Tenure-Track Assistant Professor in Building Sciences, emphasis in Construction Management

Applicants for this Building Sciences Faculty position shall demonstrate expertise in at least one of the following focal areas: Virtual Design and Construction; Practice of Sustainable Construction; Building Science; Construction Project Administration and Contracts; Construction Management Techniques; Automation in Construction; Engineered Timber Design and Construction; Indoor Environmental Quality; Construction Health and Safety; Construction Education; Building Performance and Energy Management.
Areas of Interest given special consideration include: (1) a demonstrated commitment to sustainability; (2) a demonstrated commitment to diversity and the practice of inclusive excellence in teaching, research, and/or service duties; (3) relevant collegiate teaching experience; (4) the ability to deliver upper-level construction management courses such as Construction Administration, Planning and Scheduling, Integrated Project Design and Delivery, (5) demonstrated success developing active learning-based educational experiences; (6) professional work experience related to desired expertise; (7) professional licensure; (8) a clear scholarly agenda related to desired expertise.
Minimum Qualifications

An earned doctorate in architecture, engineering, or a construction-related field is required by the time of hire. A Master of Architecture degree with professional licensure or a Master with a professional engineering license may also be considered.
