Our research group investigates (i) transport phenomena in microscopic domain, especially characterization and control of interfacial behavior, (ii) development of novel micro/nanofluidic devices with high functionalities aiming for energy or biomedical applications. We are currently looking for a motivated post-doc fellow.
< Project >
The post-doc researcher will engage in one of our research projects related to the characterization of microfluidic behavior between contacting solid surfaces with roughness, evaluation of liquid thickness and temperature distribution, and wetting phenomena. The researcher can also progress own research project or join some of our on-going projects.
*Our projects can be found in URL (https://www.rs.tus.ac.jp/motlab/en/html/project.html).
< Period >
October 1, 2019 – September 30, 2021 (two years)
< Expertise >
The candidate is expected to have specialities or experiences either of micro/nanofabrication, micro/nanofluidics, surface science/chemistry, establishment of measurement system.
< Requirement >
Ph.D, obtained within seven years before the appointment as a post-doctoral fellow, is mandatory (Ph.D candidate who will receive the degree before the appointment is also acceptable).
