The Department of Biomedical Engineering (BME) in the Armour College of Engineering at Illinois Institute of Technology (Illinois Tech) invites applications for a full-time non-tenure-track faculty position to support activities in undergraduate and graduate teaching and education. Candidates are sought at the Lecturer or Senior Lecturer level. The main responsibility is teaching undergraduate courses and graduate courses required for the BME Bachelors, Masters and PhD programs. Additional responsibilities will include assisting the department withassessment and accreditation of its undergraduate and graduate programs. The expected start date is August 1, 2022.

Successful candidates are expected to demonstrate a strong commitment to undergraduate and graduate teaching, as well as to diversity, equity, and inclusion through teaching and service endeavors. At the time of appointment, applicants must hold anearned doctorate in biomedical engineering/bioengineering or a related field.
