I’m recruiting Ph.D. students with fully-funded assistantship to join my research group in Spring or Fall 2021 in the Department of Mechanical & Aerospace Engineering at Utah State University (USU). The admitted students will work on computational studies of materials (energy storage materials/functional polymers) to (i) elucidate the underlying physics of materials deformation and failure, (ii) design new materials, and (iii) design for manufacturing. The research will be undertaken at the intersection of multiscale computations and data-driven modeling.
