The Department of Chemical Engineering seeks outstanding applicants for tenure-track or tenured positions at all levels. Underrepresented minorities and women are strongly encouraged to apply.
Applications are welcome in all research areas in or at the boundaries of chemical engineering. We are especially interested in applicants working on the development and optimization of engineered tissue, stem cells and regenerative medicine, and in artificial intelligence, including machine learning, deep learning and robotics. In addition, we seek candidates working at the intersection of chemical engineering, social justice and the common good, including work that addresses anti-racism, inclusion, equity or other topics. A track record at this intersection is valued, but not essential for junior applicants. All candidates’ research, teaching and inclusion statements should define common good or social justice as they apply towards their career goals.
We seek scholars who will provide inspiration, leadership and impact in research, teaching and service. Applicants should have a PhD in chemical engineering or closely related field, a track record of outstanding research, and a commitment to excellence in education and student mentoring.
