Postdoctoral Research Fellow in Wireless Sensor Technologies

Research Description
The Functional Materials and Devices Laboratory at the University of Central Florida (UCF) has an immediate Postdoctoral Fellow position available. The research focus of this lab is to develop nano/micro-sensors based on flexible and smart materials. Example research thrust areas include: (1) biosensors for agricultural and environmental monitoring; (2) wearable electronics for biosensing and drug delivery; (3) embedded sensors for structural health monitoring; and (4) biomimetic devices for physiological interfacing. Requirements
An ideal candidate is expected to have demonstrated expertise in the following areas:

  • Radio Frequency (RF) electronics design
  • Antenna design and analysis
  • Wireless sensor networks
  • Wearable electronics
