The Department of Mechanical & Nuclear Engineering at Tennessee Tech University invites applications for one, possibly two (pending approval), full-time, nine-month, tenure-track or tenured faculty positions to begin August 2026. The rank is open, and candidates with expertise in Vehicle and/or Aerospace Engineering are especially encouraged to apply.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering or a closely related field (earned by the start date).
- Demonstrated potential for teaching excellence at the undergraduate and graduate levels.
- Potential to establish and sustain externally funded, high-quality research.
- Record of scholarly activity through peer-reviewed publications.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
