Chair of the School of Electrical and Electronic Engineering, Nanyang Technological University

The School of Electrical and Electronic Engineering (EEE) at Nanyang Technological University (NTU) Singapore is seeking an accomplished and visionary leader to join us as a Full Professor and Chair of the School. The successful candidate will report to the Dean of the College of Engineering (CoE) and is expected to provide leadership and oversight of the academic, intellectual, strategic and administrative affairs of the school. The key roles will be to attract, motivate and retain talented staff, and contribute effectively to NTU’s ambitions to provide Singapore, the region, and society globally the knowledge and technologies needed to advance economies, support national development and sustainability.

Applicants should have a distinguished record of teaching, research and scholarship and the ability to advance the School’s academic excellence, research, and professional education.

Applicants should also have the drive, desire, and experience to provide academic leadership, both internally within EEE, and externally to continue to build NTU’s reputation as a global leading institution with international importance and recognition in the field.

Applicants must have a PhD in Electrical and Electronic or a related field and would normally already hold a tenured Professorial position in a university or equivalent institution.
