Two Ph.D. positions with full financial support are available in the Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering at the University of Massachusetts Lowell. The students will work in a collaborative and supportive research environment starting from Spring or Fall 2021. Highly motivated individuals with the following backgrounds are encouraged to apply:
(i) Sustainable cementitious composites;
(ii) High-performance concrete;
(iii) Cement chemistry;
(iv) Concrete durability;
(v) Multiscale material characterization.
Laboratory research experience with a Master’s degree in Structural Engineering or Materials Science is preferred.
