The aim of EPFL’s Institute of Civil Engineering is to strengthen computational and integrative approaches, which connect strong domain-specific excellence, with knowledge in data science. EPFL’s School of Architecture, Civil and Environmental Engineering (ENAC) invites applications for a Faculty position at the tenure track level (Assistant Professor) in Digital Infrastructure.
The core areas of interest include (but are not limited to) data-driven methods for civil-infrastructure design, assessment and management, monitoring techniques and novel sensing technologies, smart infrastructure, quantification and propagation of uncertainty, and dynamic digital twins along with methods for their systematic validation.
