The Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering at Tennessee Tech University, Cookeville, Tennessee, USA, is offering one full PhD scholarship.
The PhD candidates are to conduct research in the area of cybersecurity. The candidates will by supervised by Dr Mohamed Mahmoud (http://www.cae.tntech.edu/~mmahmoud/).
Background in Cybersecurity, communication, machine learning, cryptography, or networking is not required but preferred
Applicants are required to have GRE with minimum requirements of V = 147, Q = 157, AW = 3.5, Toefel 550 or Ielts 5.5, and Bachelor and Master GPAs of 3.5.
The scholarship meets the full tuition fees. It also provides stipend of $19,200 per year.

Tennessee Tech University is a public university that is located at Cookeville City, Tennessee state. Dr Mahmoud is the founder of cybersecurity lab at Tennessee Tech University in 2013. The lab has graduated six master students and five PhD students. The lab graduates are currently assistant professors in public universities in Texas, Arkansas, North Carolina, Florida, and Mississippi.
