Job Description

The Department of Mechanical Engineering (ME) in the Charles V. Schaefer, Jr. School of Engineering and Science (SES) at Stevens Institute of Technology (Stevens) invites applications for a tenure-track/tenured faculty position at the rank of assistant/associate/full professor in areas of mechanical engineering including thermal/fluid, robotics and autonomous systems, advanced manufacturing, and artificial intelligence/machine learning in mechanical engineering applications.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Exhibit strong potential for developing and sustaining a dynamic, externally funded research program recognized nationally and internationally
  • Demonstrate a commitment to excellence in undergraduate and graduate teaching, advising, and mentoring
  • Aspire to engage actively in multi-disciplinary research collaborations

 

Required Education and Experience:

  • Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline
  • Proven potential and dedication to impactful scholarship in both research and teaching
