The School of Mechanical & Aerospace Engineering (MAE) invites applications for the position of Research Associate.

Key Responsibilities: 

• Defining experimental protocols for specific hardware testing and identifying challenges involved.

• Reviewing existing methodologies and identifying the gap in the literature.

• Design and development of experimental testbed.

• Conducting experimental trials and preparing database.

• Identifying suitable learning algorithms and testing on robots for proposed tasks and validating the proposed approach.

Job Requirements: 

• Possess Master’s degree in the field of Engineering, with preference for Smart Manufacturing.

• Experience with programming and control of Industrial Robots.

• Experience with CAD such as ANSYS and/or ROS is highly desirable.

• Good interpersonal skills.
