Ph.D. positions in Transportation Engineering are available in Dr. Md Sami Hasnine’s research group at Howard University, Washington, DC, USA. The position will start in the Spring 2021 (preferred) semester or Fall 2021 semester.
Some ongoing projects include demand and supply models of flying taxi services, autonomous and electric vehicle adoption, urban air
mobility, post-pandemic reopening plans for different USA cities, advanced discrete choice, and machine learning models.
Students with undergraduate and/or graduate degrees in Civil/Electrical/Computer Engineering related areas are encouraged to apply.
Please review the minimum GPA, TOEFL/IELTS score requirements. An academic evaluation by a NACES member is required from all international students who have studied outside of the United States. GRE is not required.
