We are seeking a Postdoctoral Researcher. In this position, you will:
conduct heteroepitaxial growth of functional materials using pulsed laser ablation (PLD) and optimize conditions for growth
investigate incorporation of controlled nanostructures of within device layers to optimize physical properties
physical property characterization such as transport and magnetic properties (using a PPMS system) of grown materials and films
Candidates will also be considered for a volunteer Research Assistant Professor position.

Doctorate in a relevant science or engineering discipline
A strong record of research publication
Ability to work independently is required
Two years research experience related to heteroepitaxial growth high-temperature superconducting REBCO materials using PLD and experience with optimizing nanostructures for flux-pinning
Two years prior work experience in a postdoctoral position is highly desired
Significant experience with superconducting transport and magnetic property measurements using a PPMS system
Experience in writing grant proposals
