Tenure-Track Assistant/Associate Professor in Civil Engineering (Environmental Engineering) at the University of Memphis
Environmental Engineering:
The Department of Civil Engineering at the University of Memphis is seeking to hire a tenure-track faculty in civil engineering at the Assistant or Associate Professor level. Applicants with backgrounds in all areas of environmental engineering are encouraged to apply, but areas of particular interest include water chemistry, physical and chemical processes, emerging contaminants, contaminant fate and transport, environmental sustainability, advanced water and wastewater treatment processes, and urban water challenges.
Candidates must hold a doctoral degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering or a closely related field. They must demonstrate a clear potential for creative, interdisciplinary, and independent research that would lead to a strong, externally funded research program with national and international recognition. Candidates are expected to teach at both the undergraduate and graduate levels.
