Assistant Professor of Electrical Engineering
Penn State Harrisburg, School of Science, Engineering, and Technology invites applications for a tenure-track Assistant Professor position in Electrical Engineering and Electrical Engineering Technology effective Fall semester 2020. The successful candidate is expected to teach undergraduate and graduate level courses and laboratories. In addition, faculty are expected to engage in research and scholarly activities, service to the University, College and professional societies, participate in ABET accreditation processes, and advise students. A Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering or a closely related discipline is required by the time of appointment. Candidates with expertise in control systems, automation and robotics, or embedded systems are encouraged to apply. Relevant experience is a plus. The college offers ABET accredited BS degree programs in EE and EET, in addition to MSEE, M.Eng. EE and other graduate degree programs.
