The Biomedical Engineering Department is the newest department in the College of Engineering and Computing with eight full-time faculty positions. The department currently offers B.S., M.S. and Ph.D. degrees in Biomedical Engineering including a Premed. track for Engineering/Bioengineering or a related field.
The successful candidate is required to have excellent verbal and written communications skills, and a strong commitment to biomedical engineering related research and teaching. In addition, the successful candidate will be expected to teach undergraduate and graduate courses, supervise graduate students, advice students at all levels, and establish a funded research program. Candidates at the ranks of Associate Professor should have distinguished records of research and educational activities, as well as strong funding histories.
