The Ohio State University is seeking highly qualified and skilled Lecturers and Senior Lecturers to support the teaching mission of the Department of Computer Science and Engineering. Lecturers and Senior Lecturers are responsible for teaching introductory and advanced undergraduate courses in all areas of Computer Science from software engineering to algorithms to computer architecture and AI. The current teaching load for full-time lecturers is roughly seven courses over the fall and spring semesters combined. Summer teaching may also be available, depending on demand. Teaching schedules are flexible. The positions are full-time and non-tenure-track. Appointment level and salary will depend on the candidate's qualifications and experience. An MS in Computer Science or Mathematics is required; appointment as Senior Lecturer requires a PhD in Computer Science or Mathematics or extensive relevant experience. Applicants with mathematics degrees should have a background in combinatorial or applied mathematics. Excellent teaching abilities are essential.
