The University of Wyoming invites applications for Professor of Practice in Entrepreneurship. The Professor of Practice in Entrepreneurship will provide leadership in innovation and entrepreneur education, coordinate assistance programs for new venture creation, collaborate with private sector employers to create experiential learning opportunities, and lead community outreach efforts statewide. The Professor of Practice in Entrepreneurship will develop and lead initiatives which strongly align with the University of Wyoming’s strategic plan, and the state’s economic development and diversification goals. Applicants with a demonstrated history of leadership in entrepreneurship, commercialization of technology, and economic development and diversification are encouraged to apply. The Professor of Practice in Entrepreneurship will report to the Dean of the College of Engineering and Applied Science (www.uwyo.edu/ceas).
Advanced degree with at least ten years of private sector experience in leadership of technology-based entrepreneurial start-ups, commercialization of technology, and economic development.
Demonstrated record of success in entrepreneurship and commercialization as an enterprise founder, investor, and coach/adviser.
History of collaborative work with diverse stakeholders including students, faculty/staff, and the community.
Exceptional written and oral communication skills.
