Two Tenure Track Faculty Positions
The Mechanical and Aeronautical Engineering (MAE) Department of the Wallace H. Coulter School of Engineering at Clarkson University invites applications for 2 tenure track positions at the Assistant or Associate Professor rank (starting date: July 2019 or earlier). A Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering or related area is required. For the first position, applications are sought from individuals whose research interests are in fluid mechanics, aerodynamics or thermal science. The area of interest for the second position is dynamics and controls.
Clarkson’s MAE Department supports approximately 850 undergraduate and graduate students, and offers B.S. degrees in Mechanical Engineering and Aeronautical Engineering, and M.E., M.S. and Ph.D. degrees in Mechanical Engineering. Successful candidates will be expected to teach fundamental undergraduate and graduate courses in mechanical/aeronautical engineering, and develop strong externally-funded research programs.
